Social activities

The cost of all social events is included in the fee. 

For organizational purposes please let us know in the registration form which ones you are planning to attend, as well as any special dietary requests for the Gala dinner and daily lunches.

Welcome reception - Monday April 9th

A welcome reception will be served at ABBA Hotel on Monday 9th at 20:00. Every participant is welcome to join the reception. 

City Tour - Wednesday April 11th

During the free afternoon (Wednesday 11th) there will be an organised tour around Salamanca. Cost is included in the fee. Details of the visit will be announced soon. 

Public lecture (in Spanish) - Wednesday April 11th

Doctor Borja Sorazu (University of Glasgow) will give a public lecture entitled "Sintiendo el espacio-tiempo" ("Feeling Space-Time") about the latest results on gravitational waves detection. It will take place on Wednesday April 11 at 19:00 h, at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Sciences (Salón de Actos de la Facultad de Ciencias, Plaza Caídos, Salamanca), 10 min walking distance from Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca. Gala Dinner - Thursday April 12th

The traditional IMFP Gala Dinner will be served at 20:30 on Thursday April 12th at El Monje Restaurant.
